This early work by G. K. Chesterton was originally published in 1903. Gilbert Keith Chesterton was born in London in 1874. He studied at the Slade School of Art, and upon graduating began to work as a freelance journalist. Over the course of his life, his literary output was incredibly diverse and highly prolific, ranging from philosophy and ontology to art criticism and detective fiction. However, he is probably best-remembered for his Christian apologetics, most notably in Orthodoxy (1908) and The Everlasting Man (1925). We are republishing these classic works in affordable, high quality, modern editions, using the original text and artwork.
Robert Browning eBook G K Chesterton
I really loved this book. It is rather old-fashioned but in a very helpful way. Chesterton weaves the biography of Robert Browning around review and explanation of his poetry. The approach to the poetry is devoid of any modern methods of literary criticism - which I found refreshing and interesting.Product details

Robert Browning eBook G K Chesterton Reviews
This is one of GKC's most considered pieces of writing. Even though he was young it points to his future genius.
Most of his writing was done at speed to meet a close deadline, but this was for him a leisurely piece. It took six months.
Well done research. Love the poet, love Mr. Chesterton for keeping Robert Browning alive, human, and not in the least bit boring.
