This e-book kept popping up as recommended reading for me, so I thought I'd go ahead and give it a chance, especially since it only cost $.99 and it had received two 5 star reviews. Well, I read it tonight and sorry, but I just didn't like it. The characters were not very well-developed and kind of unlikable, there was virtually no formatting, so scenes just changed without any warning, and it was painfully obvious that no editing had been done; there were so many grammatical errors that the book was difficult to read at points. I unwisely decided to buy two books by this author, and I'm hoping that the second book I purchased (also for $.99) is better, but I'm not hopeful.This author has potential, and I hope she will make use of whatever resources are available to authors; cleaning up the grammatical errors alone would help tremendously.

Loved it
This book had great potential with a good storyline; but even with Lyn working my last nerve the grammatical errors were a total distraction and were overwhelming.
The story wasn't bad. The typos were a distraction. I enjoy VRL's work, but sometimes you have to decipher what is being conveyed.
I would have loved to give it a 4 or 5 star but the editing was horrible. It really took away from the wonderful story it could have been. You literally have to edit as you read. I also felt Vanessa should have left his butt or at least started dating until Lynwood got his act together. However, it was a enjoyable read. I just hope the editing gets better in your other books considering I bought THE WHOLE series.
I really don’t like how she makes all the women so weak for these disrespectful men. A love story should never be about a women being disrespected until the man finally realize he loves them
This is a good story with solid plot. Vessa and Lynwood had that undeniable tension that you need a knife to cut. I could not decide if I liked Lynwood or not. I knew he had been hurt but I wanted him to get over himself sooner. When he "arrived" at love, I decided yes, I really like that man. He became the man and protector Vessa needed in her life. The secondary characters are really good and honestly helped to carry the story. We all need friend and family in our lives like Lynwood had; his parents did the right thing by Vessa even when Lynwood would not. Lynwood's parents were one in a million.
The storyline worked but the grammatical errors in the story made me crazy. It was a distraction from the normal flow of a good scene or banter. With editing this book could have been a 5 Star quality book.
He love me he clean love me. That is how i felt through the entire book. This story made me laugh and cry at the same time. For most of the pages I wanted to smack Lynwood And The other times I wanted to hit him with a brick. However, I loved this family mom dad and izzy. I am so glad they figured things out. I was so tired when I finished from laughing and crying that I couldn't start the next book until the next day.
